| 4 days 2 nights at Pulau Ubin |
it seemed like a really rocky journey to me.
went through up and downs.. and man, we were really tired at times.
i actually cab all the way to the jetty. $32 cab fee okk.
it's a long story, dont wanna elaborate. but i really freaked out when i'm abt to miss the boat.
and, i'm so glad i made it.
great friends, great activities there. almost all my team mates reached the top of the rockclimbing!
the guys were really efficient at tent pitching and stuff and the girls always stick together.
despite us from different ccas and are all leaders, we managed to get along and no conflicts. how cool is that? :D
and kayaking... it felt like an eternity. when we kayak 5hours ard the island. think palau ubin is small?
try kayaking AROUND it.
it's not a luxury camp. we peed in the sea, we ate biscuits//bread for lunch sometimes, we stink like crazy. oh oh yea, big i got home with (very) swollen lips, lost my voice and twisted my finger.
but i must say, the journey is worth it.
hope the Sakura buffet gathering with camp-mates will come soon!
made a random poem for reflection and was made to recite it to the whole camp.
was kinda embarrassed. &it seems like many people are asking me for a copy. lol.
anyw here it is:
"it was bright and sunny
it's funny
how all of us were away yakking
even when we are busy kayaking
it was dark and starry
so tired, our eyes were getting teary
together we snuggled in the tents we carefully pitched
with lotsa laughter in high-pitch
sun-burns and mosquito bites
we have been through three nights
in our solemn tones

working at Clementi new lib had been fun. didn't know behind-the-scenes is such hard work.
worked with people of all ages... sec4 grads, poly grads, same age, aunties!
though it's boring and tiring, the library is full of our noises!
yesterday was the last day~
boss edward treated us PIZZA HUT.
the bill? $291.90 for the 26 of us. lol.
anyway got my electives yesterday!
got my 3 top choices: onlineJ, PhotoJ, PR
and there's no school for me on tuesdays!
but now, i'm thinking abt how to get the $$$ for DSLR...
and how much i wish all my friends (good one) are in ALL my classes.
at least i have charlene & julie & maybe cal for some of the classes here & there..

life been busy, stressful and tiring.
but in between, i managed to catch some movies with dear.

i think world invasion is way coooolll. enjoyed it much.
argh having a splitting headache now.
have been emo'ing... time to stop,
and start organising things like dear said.
